Compositing Text Practice
Composition Practice
Today i have been practicing compositing text into pictures using after effects, i have look at some tutorials on-line, i already knew the basic but these helped me to fill in some gaps i show different ways of going about it. Here is my first practice.

Research
During our weekly tutorial and while talking to Jools he mentioned that i should try to test myself and include some composting within the advert to set it apart from the ATRG advert. He mentioned a video which Alex Bryant had shown him and after contacting her she gave me the link. I is an advert for a recruitment company and i have found it very useful in giving me ideas about how i can further push myself and increase the quality of his new advert. I plan to practice some of the techniques shown in the Passerelle video and i will post my progress on here.

Selected Plants Nursery
Last weekend i visited selected plants nursery and completed a recce, from this i was able to get a good idea of the site and talk in detail with the owner about what he wants for his advert. I was able to make notes of aspects of the site and begin to plant how i will go about shooting the advert.
Due to the snow i didn't take any photos because you couldn't really see anything, however the owner gave me some photos of plants and of the site hat he has taken.

Update
Today i received an email from the owner of Selected Plants Nursery, this included the information i asked for regarding the site; Size, age, what they sell, where they want to be in the future, address etc.
As well as this i was given the instructions about how he wanted the advert to look, however he gave these to me loosely and said he was open to suggestions and that his ideas were more like guidelines.
I plan to visit the site this coming weekend to get a better feel for the area and take some pictures, from he i can start planning my shoot in more detail. I no what the advert needs to include and i just have to get it all sorted.
